Today we celebrate 35 years with Kenna Yates! 🎉 Kenna began her career as a Teller and later a Vault Teller at our 3rd St. Banking Center in , and she has called it home ever since.

“In 35 years, you get to see a lot of life walk through the doors.” Kenna remembers customers bringing their young children into the Banking Center early in her career. Today, some of those same children bring in kids of their own. Along the way, Kenna has built quite a following of customers who look for her when they walk through the door. Those relationships extend to her coworkers too. With several longtime employees at 3rd St, Kenna says her coworkers have come to feel more like family.

Outside the office, Kenna loves putting her creativity to work through crafting. She enjoys creating jewelry, suncatchers, and holiday decorations. While she has sold some of her creations, her favorite pieces are the ones she gets to gift to her friends, family, and coworkers.

Now thru Oct 14th, we’re partnering with Friends of Yates for to host a towel drive at our Legends Banking Center, 10840 Parallel Pkwy. Friends of Yates provides support and shelter to survivors of domestic violence, many of whom arrive with nothing more than the clothes on their backs, creating a need for everyday essentials.
We’ll be collecting new bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. If you’re able, please consider donating to support this cause.
