Got the opportunity to help
this family that had water damage and mold due to some poorly places roof vents. The builder fixed the vent issues and insurance covers the interior repairs. Mold remediation, new insulation, new drywall, repair, and re-trimming the affected areas. It’s very rewarding when you can help bring a little relief from a rough and stressful situation.

It blows my mind that a contractor would walk away from a job and think that this is OK! This was part of a two year basement renovation that my customer had done prior to hiring me to fix and finish some projects for them. The last picture is after I squared up the frame. Forget to get a picture of it with the trim finished.
