Each October, Cybersecurity Awareness Month serves as a reminder of the important role we all play in protecting our personal and financial information. With scams and online threats constantly evolving, a few simple habits can make a big difference.

Use strong passwords, enable multi-factor authentication, and take a little extra caution with unexpected calls, texts, emails, and links.

We’re proud of Reed Jones and his continued commitment to serving the Tupelo community. Through his involvement with the AEE Tupelo, he’ll help support an organization that connects community resources with innovative ideas from local teachers to create meaningful opportunities for students throughout the Tupelo Public School District.

💙💛 Meet Reed Jones, AEE Board Member! 💛💙

Reed Jones serves as Chief Risk Officer at BankOkolona after spending more than 14 years in bank regulation. Reed believes strongly in giving back to the community where he and his family live, work, and are raising their children.

Reed has served as a coach and assistant coach for various sports with Tupelo Parks and Recreation over the years and is an active member of First Baptist Church Tupelo. His wife, Andrea, is the owner of Magnolia Kids Therapyand currently serves as PTO President at Lawhon Elementary. They have two children, Henry, a Tupelo Public School District student, and Cecilia, who is five.

For Reed and his family, community involvement is an important part of putting down roots in Tupelo. He looks forward to bringing that same spirit of service and involvement to the AEE Board and supporting the students and teachers of Tupelo Public Schools. 💙💛
