Much-needed rain and a stronger cattle market made for a good week at Oklahoma National Stockyards.

6,214 head came through the ring Monday, with National Livestock marketing 1,836 head. Feeder steers traded $5 to $10 higher, feeder heifers $2 to $7 higher, and steer and heifer calves were $10 to $20 higher.

As cattle start coming off grass, numbers are picking up and the market is moving. Check out this week’s highlights, and we’ll see you back in the ring Monday and Tuesday at 8 a.m.
