This recognition celebrates a major reinvestment in one of Oklahoma City’s most iconic historic properties and highlights the power of design-led stewardship rooted in intention, nuance, and narrative. Guided by Robinson Park’s Development team, led by Megan Gelmers and executed by Hana (Avey) Waugh and the Robinson Park Design & Build team, the renovation balances historic preservation with elevated, modern hospitality.

Each space was approached as an opportunity to tell a story, layering craftsmanship, character, and emotional connection throughout the guest experience. From the refined warmth and global influences of Perle Mesta to the bold, playful energy of the Red Piano Lounge the design direction blends elegance with approachability and tradition with surprise.

Design architecture was led by LEO A DALY as architect of record, with updated branding by Cooper House Construction partners CORD Construction Services, LLC and Lingo executed the work with a shared commitment to quality, safety, and schedule. This project was made possible through the support of a dedicated investor group, led by the The Chickasaw Nation.
