I’m Robert Hooks and I’m a Licensed Insurance Agent with HealthMarkets. I began my adulthood in the workforce and enlisted in the US Armed Forces as a soldier in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer where I worked at a nuclear weapons facility for two years. The military then offered me a promotion opportunity to Sergeant and a bonus to switch my job to Correctional Officer. I did t

hat and was immediately sent to Fort Leavenworth KS to the military's only maximum security prison at the United States Disciplinary Barracks. I served four years there then flew to South Korea for one year to work in a military jail. From there I proceeded back to Fort Leavenworth KS for an additional four years. I was hired on with the federal government as a Correctional Officer and worked for 21 years and retired as a Lieutenant. Once retired I worked with the US Marshals Service as an Aviation Security Officer for 18 months where we transported inmates to and from various US airports (Con Air). I concluded my federal law enforcement career after 34 years and went on to work in the automotive industry. I was hired as an Automotive Salesperson with Fowler Honda of Norman OK where I was the leading sales consultant for three years. At the age of 56, my schedule was a bit demanding being away from my family and I decided to get into business for myself as an Independent Sales Agent with HealthMarkets. As you can see, I strongly believe in protecting and servicing others. I'm all about strong ethics and the value of family. If you decide to trust me as your Insurance Agent, I'll always respect your privacy and serve you as I would my own family. Hopefully I can serve you and your loved ones for a lifetime!
