🚨 Feds cut the federal fund rate by .5% today.
This is the lowest level since March 2023

🚨This does not mean mortgage interest rates have decreased by .5% today.

🚨The mortgage market already anticipated this and factored it into our rates already available.

🚨Dot plot projects another .5% cut this year and 1% by the end of 2025.

🚨A better indicator of whether rates are going up or down is the 10yr treasury. It is currently up 5bps (basis points) from market open. When the 10yr goes up, so do mortgage rates. When the 10yr goes down, so do mortgage rates.
