Here's what I learned the hard way over 20 years of building TMB Tax Bureau: the fee you set from fear attracts the exact clients that fear deserves. The ones who negotiate. The ones who question every line item. The ones who consume the most energy and pay the least respect.

And the fee you set from abundance — from genuinely knowing what your expertise is worth — attracts a completely different client. The one who values the work. The one who refers others. The one who makes the practice a joy to run.
