Happy Birthday to my sister!

One thing I've learned from having a sister is that every successful long-term relationship benefits from a little planning, healthy boundaries, and sometimes a comfortable amount of physical distance. 😄

I appreciate that we've both figured out exactly how much togetherness keeps the peace.

Wishing my sister a fantastic birthday and another year of making great memories—preferably with enough miles between us to keep things interesting. 🎂🎉

My loyal "assistant" helping on my work from home day. Not all financial benefits show up on a statement. Sometimes it's simply being able to afford the flexibility that matters. That's what a good financial plan should create:

More time.
More balance.
More moments like these.

Because success isn’t just what you earn—it’s how you get to live.

Grateful for the opportunity to spend time with some of our valued wholesale partners, strengthening relationships, sharing ideas, and enjoying a Tigers game together. Partnerships like these help us stay informed, connected, and ultimately better equipped to serve the families and clients who trust us with their financial futures.

A great reminder that some of the best business conversations don't always happen in the office.

Having too much cash sitting on the sidelines in a money market fund might seem like a safe move. But history shows that there’s an opportunity cost to playing it too safe. Simply put, cash has less growth potential and most likely won’t help you reach your long-term goals. Even with periodic market downturns, history shows that markets eventually rebound, recoup their losses, and ultimately move higher — outperforming cash by a wide margin.
