SeaComm Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the launch of SeaComm Insurance Agency, LLC, a wholly owned CUSO, and that Maple City Insurance, Ogdensburg, NY, has joined the newly formed firm.

“We are extremely pleased that Peter ‘Tom’ Bellinger and his family-owned firm, Maple City Insurance have decided to be a part of our new insurance agency,” stated Scott A. Wilson, SeaComm President & Chief Executive Officer. “Tom’s knowledge of insurance operations, products, and markets make him a great fit to manage our agency. The new firm will complement SeaComm’s core financial services, along with SeaComm’s Personal Financial Advisor Services.”

SeaComm Insurance Agency will be located at 411 State Street in Ogdensburg, and will offer a full suite of auto, home, renter, motorcycle, boat, RV, UTV, classic car, and business insurance products with more than ten valuable carrier partners at competitive options, while focusing on delivering the right coverage with a full-service experience.

The new firm will still be managed by me and assisted by my staff, whom our clients have come to know and trust,” stated Maple City Insurance Principle/Owner Peter ‘Tom’ Bellinger. “Partnering with SeaComm was the right choice for our clients to continue to receive the same high level insurance options, guidance, and personalized service they have come to know and enjoy. This is a huge day for Maple City Insurance, and the last day our office will be known by that name.

Starting tomorrow, our office will still be open (with expanded hours, we are now 8am-5pm), our same staff including myself will still be working here, and our mission will remain unchanged. From the letter below, "The same people, the same values, the same priorities, which is giving you the best care possible."

When my father and mother started the agency over 30 years ago, they could not have imagined this opportunity for us. My father was involved and very supportive of the decision to partner with Seacomm Federal Credit Union, and he was as excited about the transition as anyone. Mostly he wanted me to buy him a new boat.

The process has been a long one, but today we cross the finish line, and tomorrow when you call 315-393-4652, or when you stop by 411 State Street in Ogdensburg, you'll still see me and Jake, but it'll be the Seacomm Insurance Agency. We look forward to continuing the journey!
