You probably heard by now that the Fed lowered Fed Funds rate by .25% today. This had a pretty strong impact on rates and they are looking better they’ve looked in a long time. It might make sense to refi if you bought a home in the past few years. Let’s chat.

I’m sure you all heard by now that the fed dropped rates by .5%

While this is great news please understand that doesn’t directly mean that long term mortgage rates dropped a .5% too. Mortgage rates are definitely influenced by fed rate but not directly tied to each other.

In all fairness many wholesale lenders over hedged and some actually posted worse rates after the official announcement.

Great news!!!!! Both Fannie and Freddie have dropped fees to us meaning fees to you as a borrower have just dropped. This means even lowers rates. If your looking to buy or refi I’m your guy.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are dropping a fee on mortgage refinances that was instituted during the pandemic.
