I was at a roller-skating park with my family yesterday, and the waiver clearly asked if participants have health insurance. If not, they strongly advised against skating because it's a risky activity. We weren't even there for 10 minutes when an older person fell and had to be taken out in a wheelchair. Did she heed the warning?

The point is that life is full of Reward and Risk. The balancing of the two is important, and having at least the most basic of health insurance is critical. It is what we do.
