“BROKERS SUCK”
From my standpoint this appears to be the sad theme in our industry. This is akin to Applebee’s or any other business saying their customers suck. Yes, some steal the silverware, run on their check, complain about their orders but for the most part the other 90% pay their bills, enjoy a good meal and Tip properly.
As a reminder to all businesses, know who your customers are and treat them well. I’m generalizing here and not picking on all operations teams or personnel. BUT at most lenders your paychecks are dependent on Brokers. Its easy for a waiter to bad mouth their table or the chef to feel unappreciated and I certainly sympathize and understand those “feelings.” But they are not getting paid without those customers.
 Yes, some Brokers can do a better job delivering quality files, communicating. and learn some patience.  At the end of the day we all need each other for this machine to work. Most of us would not be eating fish for dinner without someone else catching it for us.

So this is what “Free” looks like. Pardon the non business vent, but it’s cheaper than calling the shrink. I woke up this morning to the sound of a truck beeping and dumping a large quantity of “mulch” on my property. ( I have another word for it. )My loving bride of many years got it for “free” As an avid Gardner she explained the many benifits of mulch and where she wanted ME to deploy it around the property. Needless to say I’m not missing my T team. One of my good friends shared with me a Persian Proverb that goes something like “be careful of doing favors because soon they become expectations.” Needless to say I will be delegating this task to some hard working gents at Home Depot. Nothing in life is free. Thanks for listening.
