Originally from Venezuela, Ylianfer is an educator and opera singer who earned her Maryland High School Diploma by passing the Spanish-language RLA exam, demonstrating the vital impact of offering educational pathways in a learner's native language.
Now, Ylianfer is preparing to teach in Worcester County, turning her passion into a career. We recognize the tremendous strengths that Maryland's Hispanic and Latino communities bring to our workforce.
