Quick Praxis tip: replacement cost and actual cash value are not the same thing, and the difference matters at claim time.

Replacement cost covers what it takes to rebuild or replace today. Actual cash value factors in depreciation, so the payout is usually lower.

Knowing which one your policy uses before you ever need it can save a lot of surprise later.
