Review your own credit reports or have your credit reports reviewed by a Credit Consultant or Credit Repair Company.....be cautions.

Look at your most recent credit report (less than 30 days old) and scores if you have them.
Neighbors that have credit cards, review your statements.
1 - There have been more small charges that you may NOT normally notice.
I woke up one day at 4am & there was a charge for $0.63, yes 63 cents.
This is how your credit is violated or your identity can be stolen.
If you are getting the door to door pre "QUALIFIED" mail.
Shred them or tear them up if you are not using them, so it doesn't become theft.
Pre "QUALIFIED" is NOT approved, but someone can apply & use your name.
Check/Monitor your scores to start:
each month, TransUnion, Experian, Equifax.
Check your reports:
each month: TransUnion, Experian, Equifax.
Think of this as checking your bank account!
Would you want someone taking $$$$ from you?
Do you want your credit revoked or decreased?
Scores under 600, you will have a hard time getting approved for anything, whether it be credit card or a loan unless you know the correct place to go or you will have a big down payment and/or super high interests!!!
