This is a GREAT SERVICE given to Oakland so please help keep the Yard Waste/Tree Dump Site FREE!

Reminder: The city yard waste/tree dump site is only for trees, tree limbs, garden and yard waste (grass clippings & leaves). No garbage, lumber/construction debris, furniture, etc. is to be dumped. If this type of dumping continues there is potential to close or limit access to the site.
We have vouchers to the Pottawattamie Country Recycling Center at city hall to allow you to dump garbage and other materials not allowed at the tree dump for free. If you aren't sure what goes where please give us a call and we can help you out.
