I started my career as an agent with Shelter Insurance 25 years ago today. I want to thank all of my customers, family, and friends for their support. I am blessed to have had this opportunity and for meeting so many wonderful people along the way.

I'm giving a $2,000 scholarship to an Oak Grove High School graduating this spring. Students have until March 31st to submit their applications. The crisis relief payments for Shelter customers started going out late last week. My agency will return $47,992 to our customers for April and May. If you pay using EFT we’ll put the payment in that account. If you pay using credit cards or checks, we’ll mail you a check. The Shelter Insurance® Foundation has allocated $1.5 million dollars to help with crisis relief in the communities Shelter serves. The Foundation approved offering a $1,000 donation per agent and $5,000 per regional office to area charities working to respond to local COVID-19 needs. This offer is extended to each of our nearly 1400 agents in Shelter’s 15-state operating territory and to our 20 regional offices. Agents may choose which local charity to support and will submit their requests to the Foundation. A process is being developed for agents and regional offices to make their individual requests and will be distributed as soon as it is ready. More information is available here:

In the interest of providing help to our customers now, when they need it most, Shelter will pay our auto policyholders representing approximately 30% of their monthly premium for their personal autos for the months of April and May.
