My name is Spencer Kline, your trusted Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) / Reverse Mortgage specialist.

I have over 30 years of experience spanning both the traditional mortgage landscape as well as both the FHA HECM and Proprietary Jumbo Reverse Mortgage products. By leveraging my extensive knowledge of the ever-evolving mortgage market, I will tailor the perfect solution to meet your unique needs. I am honored to be an advocate for Aging in Place and currently serve as Co-Chair & founding member of the National Aging in Place Council - Greater Baltimore Chapter where we foster collaboration and education among professionals and communities to support aging in place initiatives. My mission is to fully educate the older community on how a HECM / Reverse Mortgage could benefit them in retirement. Whether it be refinancing their current home to provide supplemental retirement income by utilizing the equity in their home. Also increasing their monthly cashflow by eliminating their current mortgage payment, or both. I also provide information to the older community on utilizing the "Reverse for Purchase" (R4P) Program where I educate the older community on using a Reverse Mortgage to buy a new home. This is a great program for the older community who is thinking about moving for any number of reasons, downsizing, needs to be on one level (no stairs), their spouse pasted away, moving closer to family. Beyond work, i am a beach enthusiast and I love spending time on my boat, soaking up the sun and enjoying the calming waves. I enjoy spending time with friends and family but most of all I love experiencing life with my incredible girlfriend. We are thrilled to have the director of Dementia Friendly Maryland with us next week on Tuesday, January 14th at noon for a virtual group session to raise awareness and understanding about dementia and to learn how together we can better support those living with dementia.
DID YOU KNOW- More than 130,000 Maryland residents live with dementia? Dementia is a general term for memory changes that create challenges in daily living, organizing, planning and communication. Alzheimer’s is the most common disease causing dementia, although there are others.
By helping everyone in our community understand what dementia is and how it affects people, each of us can make a difference for people touched by dementia
Help us spread the word around our Greater BALTIMORE community. We want to educate as many in the community dementia so we can be informed and educated on how to be respectful of individuals living with dementia, their families and care partners and provides supportive options that foster quality of life. Joining Dementia Friendly Maryland means a community is engaging people living with dementia, caregivers and multiple community sectors in a collaborative team to create positive change toward becoming more dementia friendly.
