🎓 Celebrating Rebecca Costa and the Lillian Malley Scholarship! 🎓

We are thrilled to recognize Rebecca Costa, a teller at our Norwood location and a hardworking member of the OneLocal team, as the recipient of a $1,000 Lillian Malley Scholarship!

This summer, Rebecca had the wonderful opportunity to work as an accounting intern in her field of study, gaining valuable hands-on experience and building skills that will serve her well as she continues her education and career.

The scholarship holds a special meaning as it honors Lillian Malley, a longtime Foxboro Federal employee and former Treasurer. Lillian was known for being both kind and strong, and she helped break the glass ceiling in banking at a time when women held far fewer prominent leadership roles. Her legacy of dedication, strength, and perseverance continues to inspire.

We are incredibly proud to present this scholarship to such a hardworking and deserving OneLocal employee. Congratulations, Rebecca! We can't wait to see all that you accomplish. 🌟

Mark your calendars! OneLocal Bank will be at An Unlikely Story on September 13 at 3PM for My First Money Adventure! My First Money Adventure is an interactive, fun presentation that introduces kids to the basics of money management, including an exploration of needs vs. wants, savings, budgeting, and an introduction to the topic of interest. Best suited for children in kindergarten through second grade!

Our CEO, John Galvani, participated in today's Boston 25 News Zip Trip to talk about the role of Friends of the Framingham Heart Study and the impact they have on the community. The organization promotes public awareness, funding, and engagement with the study. Always fantastic to see our leadership team supporting great causes!
