Honestly, I'd like to see the day when 'urban', 'inner-city' Blacks start focusing more on Owning A Piece Of The Rock, Owning their own Business, than 'flossing', and trying to impress others.
Self-Employment is truly the key to success for any Race, or Nation of people...
One must stop being 'narrow-minded' while THINKING n LIVING ONLY FOR TODAY, but realize FUTURE SUCCESS, and LONGEVITY ultimately 'depends' on WHAT WE DO NOW, i.e. the STRONG FOUNDATION WE BUILD with our 'funds', our 'families', our 'friends/associates' and etc. Consequently, the 'lack' thereof truly leads to the deterioration, and destruction of that Race's 'culture', and potential economic growth and development.
So here's the Solution, and Challenge....first of all, change your way of thinking and operating from Me, me, me, to US, US, US, realizing there's 'life', and 'future', beyond you alone, but instead with, and for those you hold dear, and who are close to you. We must 'prepare' the way for others to follow, particularly 'family', and 'friends'.
Second, start putting money aside, (even if it's small amounts, it all adds up), for FUTURE BUSINESS ENDEAVORS, 'create' a PLAN, and a GOAL of where you want to go and be in your future life.
Third, start to covertly seek out, and observe others in the family, or close to you who have 'natural', GOD-GIVEN Talents, and Abilities which can be 'nurtured', 'developed', and 'promoted' for the 'benefit' of you all, get out of the mind-set that 'Its All About You', cause it isn't, rather, IT IS ALL ABOUT THE LONGEVITY, AND SUCCESS OF YOUR 'RACE', AND 'CULTURE', hello!! Needless to say, we all have 'children', 'siblings', 'nieces', 'nephews', and other kin-folk....get the picture?
Nothing's new under the sun, and what others are doing have been going on for ages, however, a certain 'race' seem to have missed the 'memo' due to some cultural, and economic misgivings, but the opportunities were indeed present though unnoticed, and unpublicized, but NOW it's recognized nationwide by all, and time to get busy, wouldn't you say?
Finally, begin to form both family, and social structures, and alliences which can be 'built' upon, and developed into usable, constructive, and profitable endeavors, and by all means, keep your intentions, and conduct honorable, and Godly. Hint, hint to the wise ** Steer clear from the obvious MONEY-HUNGRY, and MATERIALISTIC individuals, sometimes they don't quite get the whole US thing, know what I mean?? Peace out....
