I went to a funeral today.
A friend’s father.
As I was talking to someone else, they started crying.
That person said “someday this will be us.”
Death affects us all in different ways.
So many questions are raised.
A myriad of emotions.
But here’s what I know.
I don’t want to look back on my life and have a sense of regret.
Not regret over what I’ve done but regret over not taking that chance.
Seize that opportunity.
And make sure you tell someone you love them.
Start with yourself.

I love numbers! And I love helping people.

So it made sense for me to be doing what I love and helping small business owners at the same time.

Being a business owner takes courage. It's risky. You're constantly putting yourself out there (and wanting to pay your bills at the same time).

There's no straight line for having a successful business.

I used to think by being good at something, at one thing, meant everyone would automatically become my clients.

Business owners wear so many hats. We wear all the hats.

The truth is this. All business owners need help. We need a lawyer, a CPA, a bookkeeper, a marketing expert, a financial expert, an HR expert, etc.

Because we are not all these things.

If you are a business owner, I see your hustle. I see how hard you work to provide for your family and your employees.

I know what that means to build into your community.
