In my role as a Wealth Advisor, I bring more than fifteen years of experience in engineering, problem-solving, and client service. After building a successful career as an engineer, I transitioned to financial services in 2023 with a clear purpose in mind: to help individuals and families find simplicity, clarity, and confidence in their financial lives. As a native of eastern North Carolina, I ea

rned my degree in Textile Engineering from NC State University (go Wolfpack!) and enjoyed many wonderful years in the protective textile industry. I hold my Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations, along with North Carolina Life and Health Insurance licenses, equipping me to provide comprehensive financial guidance. It’s a privilege to walk alongside clients, especially couples and women who are planning for retirement, as they define what security and fulfillment mean for them. I believe that financial guidance should be welcoming and inclusive for all- everyone deserves to feel understood, respected, and supported when they sit down with their advisor. Now based in Wilkesboro, my husband and I are raising our two children in the foothills of beautiful northwestern North Carolina. Outside the office, you’ll often find us in our garden (sometimes an overgrown jungle), enjoying time on Kerr Scott Reservoir, or gathered on the front porch together. Had an awesome second session with Wilkes Leadership last week- we visited places in the county I've ridden by a hundred times but never noticed! 🤪

A local bluegrass festival that was a major part of how I met Richard a few years before this photo was taken 🥹

And if you look closely you can see I was pregnant with our son in this photo 😜 Time flies!!

What an awesome first day at Leadership Wilkes last week 🤩

We met our 2026 cohort, did some silly and serious team-building 😜 and got to hang out with beautiful horses!

Update on our Wild Summer™️ 😜

TLDR: Slowing down has given me more energy and focus for client work AND home life 🙏

Trips to the lake: 10++?? Honestly not sure but we've swam, boated, kayaked, watched the sunset! Sometimes it's pure fun and sometimes it's frustration and tears but that's life with little kids 🤣

Hours kids have spent in the inflatable hot tub: one million. This is my hottest parenting tip from this summer. 2+ hours in the pool = worn out kids 😴

Hours spent in the garden: very few! We did a mini garden this year and focused more on time together and on the water. Highly recommend!

Books read: 10+?? This is not your high school summer reading assignment 🤓 I've been reading for pure joy and it's the best.

Our Wild Summer™️ has gone waaaay too fast but has been really grounding and sweet for our family. My client work is FULL ON during the day and then my brain and body have had time to rest and restore in our downtime. Not perfect but it's a practice 🙏

Another great Merlefest in the books! 🎻🪕

Haven't heard of Merlefest?? 🤓 It's one of the largest bluegrass/Americana music festivals in the US (maybe the world?? 🤩) and regularly hosts well-known artists- like Allison Krauss and Old Crow Medicine Show this past weekend 🎶 Right here in Wilkes County, North Carolina📍

Wonderful music, great community, and an awesome time catching up with friends 🥰

Had a great time at the Wilkes County Chamber of Commerce event 😎 and then volunteering later in the weekend 🙌
