National Senior Fraud Awareness Day is coming up on May 15, and our team at The Enrollment Center wants to help you stay protected from the scams we see most often in our Medicare community.

Here are a few red flags to keep on your radar:

• Tech support scams claiming your device has an issue and asking for remote access or payment
• Fake Medicare or government calls requesting personal information or demanding money
• Family imposter scams where someone pretends to be a relative needing urgent help
• Prize or sweepstakes scams that ask you to pay fees before receiving “winnings”
• Romance or investment scams that build trust online and then pressure you financially

Staying aware is one of the best defenses. If you ever receive a message that doesn’t feel right or want reassurance about anything related to your Medicare coverage, we’re here to help.
