Our team member Nick and his fiancée Annabelle just closed on their first home!

Cold temperatures and nighttime lows near or below freezing are expected through the week, and snow showers are possible. With temps this low, frozen or burst pipes become a real risk. 

Here’s how to protect your home:
• Let faucets drip slightly
• Open cabinets under sinks
• Keep garage doors closed
• Disconnect outdoor hoses
• Slightly raise your thermostat

If a pipe freezes or bursts:
• Turn off your main water valve
• Avoid electrical hazards around water
• Take photos of damage once safe
• Call a plumber
