Finally finished (mostly). Normally, I'm happy to finish houses. It's bittersweet when there's little to no profit after so many struggles. All new warranty on foundation, roof, hvac, appliances, flooring, etc.

Tarrant Co Appraisal district is screwing us hard. After paying 25k in back taxes at closing, two months later the county decided to remove all exemptions from prior owner for 5 years. Cost to US again, another 25k in taxes. Over 50k total is arrears. Over 90k in renovation expenses...way over budget.

We have tried to fight it more than once, but they say property taxes follow the house (which the deed says).

We have little to no flexibility on price on this, as we will be at a loss by the time lenders, taxes, agents and closing costs are paid. Will be priced for a quick sale!

Sorry for the depressing post. Just sucks to work so hard for $0. Not sure why I should work for free. No one else does.

Richland Hills, 3/2/1. Fully permitted all new electrical wiring, panel, service, extensive foundation work, new hvac, new flooring, new bathrooms, new plumbing above the slab, new cleanouts. Engineers reports on foundation and structural. Not sure where we will end up on price yet, debating on a couple things still.

BIRDVILLE ISD.

EASY possible ADDITION OF 4TH BEDROOM AND 3RD BATH.. money talks, but pretty easy and vented....would add 400 sq feet. This option priced at 260k.

The struggle is real. This house should have been done at least a month ago.

Please if you know someone facing foreclosure don't let this happen.

These are disabled elderly folks who did not think they were going to lose their house. Very sad situation.
