Once you apply for a home loan, the last thing you want to do is trigger a jump scare that ruins your closing. Keep the monsters at bay by following these golden rules during underwriting:

❌ DON'T make any major purchases (no buying a new car or furniture on credit).
❌ DON'T change jobs or quit your career mid-process.
❌ DON'T open new credit cards or close old ones.
❌ DON'T move large amounts of undocumented cash around.
✅ DO keep paying all your bills on time.

Appraisal reports are getting a redesign. Fewer forms and one report that adapts to the property instead of forcing it into a fixed template.

If it looks different than what you're used to, it's supposed to. It's the same information, organized better.
