A Medicare Advantage Plan (also known as Medicare Part C) is a type of health plan offered by a private company that contracts with Medicare to provide all of the coverage and benefits that Medicare Part A and Part B offer. Medicare Advantage Plans provide additional coverage, such as vision and hearing, and are required to provide at least the same benefits as Original Medicare. Medicare Advantage Plans may have additional benefits, such as prescription drug coverage, and may offer lower out-of-pocket costs for services, such as doctor visits and hospital stays. Medicare Advantage Plans help to insure Medicare recipients against high out-of-pocket costs.

Out of Pocket Max 💵This is the most you will have to pay for covered services in a plan year. Once you reach this limit, your insurance pays 100% of covered services for the rest of the year Think of it as: "Your safety net."
