These are wild times. There is a lot of confusion and insecurity in the macro and micro markets. The last thing that you and your bank needs to worry about is how long distressed and other undesirable assets will be sitting on your balance sheet.

Clarity understands occasionally your bank will have some assets that you need to dispose of. We understand that workouts are not always the best option for your institution.

Buying and Selling Notes

Clarity Equity Group has worked with numerous banks to assist them in removing troubled assets from their balance sheet and providing new debt for borrowers when needed.

Loans that borrowers take out to purchase a property are called mortgage notes.

Banks and other entities will sell those real estate notes to free up their cash flow. Note buyers’ step into the role of the bank and collect the borrower’s principal and interest rate payment.

Do you feel we will have more notes available in the market post Covid-19? Or, will the government provide enough assistance to banks allowing them to work with borrowers?
