My second year at The Greenwich Concours d’Elegance and Concours de Sport by Hagerty was one to remember.
This year, I had the opportunity to serve as a Class Host Lead, helping oversee all of the 18 classes that showcased over 400 incredible automobiles at the Concours de Sport. It was an amazing experience interacting with entrants and hearing the unique stories behind their cars and their journeys. From a Corvette that was built and owned by its enthusiast at just 17 years old, to heartwarming stories of lifelong relationships that began through a shared passion for classic automobiles, every vehicle had a story worth telling.
One of the highlights of the weekend was meeting and speaking with Paul Russell, who was named the 2026 Greenwich Concours Grand Marshal. A renowned preservationist and expert in European collector cars, Paul Russell has spent decades setting the standard for excellence in restoration and preservation through Paul Russell & Company. It was an honor to learn from someone whose impact on the automotive community has been so significant.
This year also marked the 30th Anniversary of The Greenwich Concours, making the event even more special. Beyond the incredible cars, it was great to reconnect with friends, make new connections, and continue the conversations later at Reverie Greenwich waterfront Soirée.
A reminder that collector vehicles are more than just machines, they’re stories and memories, that deserve the right protection.
