📢 Meet Katrina Bigelow, Account Manager, Grohs Schrager Hampson Aviation Insurance LLC ✈️

Katrina Bigelow began her career in aviation insurance in 2018 and joined the Grohs Schrager Hampson team in 2026 as an Account Manager. Her passion for travel started early-she took her first international trip at just two years old, which sparked a lifelong appreciation for aviation and the aerospace industry. Before transitioning into aviation insurance, Katrina worked as a hairstylist in Portland, Oregon, and had previously spent several years in Los Angeles as a makeup artist for film and television after graduating from cosmetology school. Earlier in her career, she gained extensive customer service experience, a foundation that connects all of her professional roles and continues to shape her client-focused approach today.

Katrina works remotely from Hillsboro, Oregon, where she lives with her husband and their two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys discovering new restaurants, attending a variety of live entertainment, taking her dogs on hikes, exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, and traveling whenever she can, always eager to welcome new experiences and learn about different cultures.

📢Jack Mallia, Account Executive, Schrager Hampson Aviation Insurance Agency LLC ✈️

Jack brings over 15 years of experience in aviation insurance to Schrager Hampson Aviation Insurance Agency. His career began at Northeast Aviation & Marine Insurance Brokers, a company founded by his father, Jeffrey Mallia, a former naval fighter pilot and the builder of an AirVenture Cup-winning Cozy Mark III aircraft. Jeffrey’s passion for aviation and deep roots in the insurance industry inspired Jack to follow in his footsteps.

At Northeast Aviation & Marine, Jack gained extensive experience insuring a wide range of clients, from renters and Cessna 150 owners to charter operators, flight schools, warbirds, and even weather balloons. In September 2024, Schrager Hampson acquired Northeast Aviation & Marine, and Jack is excited to bring his expertise and enthusiasm for aviation to the team.

Jack resides in upstate New York with his wife, and their two sons. A former ski racer at Colby College, Jack remains an avid skier and looks forward to sharing his love for the slopes with his sons.
