Happy Labor Day Weekend!

KSA Meets with Cincinnati Insurance! ✈️🏢

Our Agency Principals, John Foreman & Pat Condon, recently made the trip to Cincinnati, OH, to visit the headquarters of Cincinnati Insurance! While there, they had the opportunity to meet with members of Cincy’s leadership team, as well as several of the teams we work with day to day.

Cincinnati Insurance offers a wide range of personal, commercial, and life insurance products, while providing exceptional customer service and claims experience. Their products are exclusively offered through independent agents who are carefully selected as established and trusted insurance professionals and we are proud to be one of them! We’re grateful for the opportunity to work so closely with their team.

One thing we really appreciate about Cincinnati Insurance is how much they value relationships with their independent agents. That’s something we value at KSA too. We agree that insurance is a relationship business and our strong partnership with Cincinnati helps us provide the best possible experience for our clients.

Of course, John and Pat couldn’t make a trip to Cincinnati without experiencing a few local favorites! ⚾🌭 They had a blast at a Reds game and even had their first Skyline Chili experience. They came for the insurance connections and left with a whole new view of Cincinnati! 😉

FAQ Friday! Today's topic- Renovations 👀

Q: Do I need a Builders Risk policy if I’m renovating my home?

A: It depends on the extent of the renovations!

Generally, your standard homeowners policy will continue to provide coverage during cosmetic renovations that allow you to remain living in your home while the work is being completed.

More extensive renovations may require a Builders Risk policy. This could include major projects that involve structural changes, moving load-bearing walls, or renovations that require you to move out of the home while the work is underway.

Every project is different, so always check with our team before the work begins to make sure you have the right coverage in place 🏠🔨

Today is National Dog Day! 🐶❤️

National Dog Day was founded in 2004 as a way to spotlight the large number of dogs in shelters waiting for loving homes. Today, the observance also recognizes the contributions of service, police, and search-and-rescue dogs, along with advocating against breed-specific legislation and animal abuse.

Of course, we couldn’t let the day go by without celebrating some of the four-legged members of the KSA family! 🐾 From couch companions to adventure buddies, our team has plenty of dogs who keep us company!

Another KSA Birthday to celebrate today! It is Luce’s special day! 🎊✨

Luce is such an important part of Team KSA as our Lead Personal Renewals Assistant and Personal VA Manager. He is always juggling more tasks than most of us can even imagine, while keeping a smile on his face and a pep in his step. His positivity is contagious and keeps us all smiling right along with him. TGIF! Another week in the books means it is time for another FAQ Friday! 🤔💭

Q: Why does my renewal premium increase even if I haven't filed a claim?

A: We hear this one a lot! Your premium isn't based solely on whether you've filed a claim. Insurance works by pooling premiums to help pay claims when they occur. Your premium helps contribute to the pool that pays claims, just as other policyholders’ premiums would help cover a claim should you ever have one.

Your premium can also be influenced by things like increased catastrophe losses, rising repair & construction costs, and overall claims activity in your area.

So even if you’ve never filed a claim, the premium for your home, vehicle, or business could still be impacted by factors that are entirely outside your control.

While some factors may be out of your control, understanding your coverage doesn’t have to be. We are here to help!
