📅 It’s AEP — Let’s Talk About Medicare Supplements (Medigap)!
The Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is here — and while most people think it’s only for Medicare Advantage and Part D changes, it’s also a great time to review your Medicare Supplement (Medigap) coverage.
👉 Medicare Supplements help pay the 20% that Original Medicare doesn’t cover — things like copays, coinsurance, and deductibles.
If you’re currently on a Medigap plan, this is a good time to:
-Compare rates between companies (since benefits are standardized, but prices aren’t!)
-Review whether your plan still fits your needs and budget
-Explore options if you’re considering switching between Supplement and Advantage coverage
Even though Medigap plans don’t technically change during AEP, this season is the perfect time to make sure you’re in the right spot before 2026.
