Streaming subscriptions have become a staple in most households—but they can also quietly creep into your budget. Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, Spotify … a few here and there can easily add up to $50–$100 a month, or over $1,000 a year.
That money could cover a weekend trip, extra retirement contributions, or a chunk of debt payoff.
Reviewing your subscriptions regularly helps ensure you’re actually using what you pay for. Cancel the “ghost” services, keep the ones you love, and redirect the savings toward your bigger goals.
Sometimes the smallest adjustments create the most breathing room.
