Reminder - work requirements are coming to MaineCare but NOT for those on Medicare. This is a huge change and knowing the details are very important for Mainers.

Starting January 1, 2027, changes are coming to MaineCare eligibility for MaineCare Expansion members. MaineCare Expansion members are adults who are between 19 and 64 years old and don't meet Social Security disability guidelines or have Medicare.

Starting with their 2027 renewal date, these members may need to report their work, volunteer, or school activities and renew their coverage more often in order to keep their MaineCare coverage.

Very proud to have spoken up in Augusta this past week, going over how we can get more local support to seniors on Medicare and adults on the Affordable Care Act.

This past fall, way too many Mainers and folks in New Hampshire were unable to get basic health answers because there's simply not enough trained experts who understand how our plans, laws and hospital networks work. We need more community, more education and more transparency in Healthcare.
