Russell has lived in North Augusta for 30 years and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from USC Aiken, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Wesleyan University, and holds a Credit Union Management Certification from the Southeastern Regional Credit Union School held at the University of Georgia. Russell is active in his community having served on the board of the Young Professionals of Augusta and later with the Aiken Young Professionals. He is a graduate of the Leadership North Augusta program and was a vital part in creating the North Augusta Bark Park. He has served as a North Augusta Chamber ambassador and was awarded the North Augusta Chamber Ambassador of the Year in 2015. Russell is married and resides in North Augusta with his wife and two dogs.
