Unwritten rules of Nashua,NH that everyone knows after being here long enough:
1. You drive to New Hampshire just to shop. No sales tax, no shame, no apologies.
2. Complaining about Massachusetts drivers isn't rude here, it's basically a personality trait.
3. You already know which backroad avoids the Everett Turnpike traffic, and you're not sharing it with everyone.
4. Iced coffee is a year-round beverage. Snow on the ground has nothing to do with it.
5. Someone lets you merge, you throw up the wave. It's basic decency around here, not optional.
6. Main Street downtown is where everyone ends up eventually, whether they planned to or not.
7. You call it "the Gate City" like it's common knowledge, because around here, it is.
Every city has its own language, its own landmarks, its own way of doing things that nobody teaches you, you just pick it up the longer you're here.
If half of this made you nod, this is your sign.
