If you read your policy, it’s YOUR responsibility to accurately prove and value your claim. It’s not the insurance company’s responsibility. It’s not actually the adjuster’s responsibility, it’s YOUR responsibility.
But you’re not an expert in construction, insurance policies, valuations, documentation, building code, Xactimate etc....
The system is rigged against you because they require you to do something that you’re not qualified to do, then they offer to “do it for you” just to make it easier on you. They even adjust your claim for free, but they assign the values that benefit THEM not you.
