I am excited to be a part of this company. Great news to share, this just means more help is coming to Virginia Small Business owners.

VCC is excited to share that we have closed on a historic $36.4 million investment from the U.S. Department of Treasury as part of the Emergency Capital Investment Program (ECIP). A program championed by our partner and friend, Senator Mark Warner, was designed to help further support small businesses and consumers in the places they serve. This funding will allow VCC to achieve deeper impact in economically excluded and historically underestimated communities across the Commonwealth. We are grateful for Treasury’s and Senator Warner’s trust in and support of VCC and our fellow CDFIs!

Learn more in our December announcement about VCC’s ECIP qualification, linked below.

Virginia Community Capital (VCC) was named a recipient of Emergency Capital Investment Program (ECIP) funding by the U.S. Department of the Treasury on Tuesday. VCC qualified to receive $36.4 million and is one of three financial institutions in Virginia to be awarded.
