What does pink mean to you? 🩷

I've been in the insurance industry for 27 years, and for the last six years I've been proud to represent Farmers Insurance with our agency in Norfolk, Virginia. So seeing this fresh new chapter is exciting and a great time to be a Farmers agent.

Pink means something different to everyone - to me, it's more than just a new color. It's actually my favorite color. Pink represents warmth, optimism, compassion, and a more approachable experience.

Insurance has a reputation for being confusing and intimidating, but it doesn't have to be. Protecting people starts with helping them understand their options and feel confident in the decisions they make.

That philosophy is exactly why I opened our insurance agency. I wanted to create an agency that feels like YOUR agency in OUR community. A place where you can ask questions, understand your coverage, and know you have someone in your corner before you ever need to file a claim.

I'm excited to see Farmers continuing to move in that direction, and I'm proud to be part of this next chapter. I'll miss the Professor but he's earned his retirement and crafty beverages!

My very first job was being the “Putt-Putt girl” some of you may remember! I started working at 15 years and 8 months old, and I haven’t stopped since. Looking back, I learned so many valuable life lessons from my first boss, Cyndi Carlson, and many of those lessons have stayed with me throughout my career.

At 23 years old, I ventured into insurance as a single mom just looking for a “job.” Little did I know, it would become my life’s work and a career I truly love.
