Happy Monday! As some of you may know, Virginia’s state minimum auto liability limits are going to rise from 30,000/60,000 to 50,000/100,000 as the minimum liability you can carry on your vehicle. I strongly urge everyone who doesn’t know what coverage they obtain and/or those with state minimums to reach out, and we can take a look at your options. For those of you within those limits already, let’s do an insurance review and see if we can find some savings! February is INSURE YOUR LOVE MONTH. One of my biggest fears as a single parent is passing away before my son is independent and able to financially support himself. Having life insurance eases my financial worries completely. As Life insurance awareness month approaches in September, I want to give you all some facts that stresses the importance of having a decent life insurance policy in force.

I’ve come across many individuals who have policies with very little payout. What most people don’t think about outside of grieving their loved ones is the financial cost that comes along with loosing them that you are now responsible for. The average end of life costs about $15,000-$18,000. This is of course assuming there was no medical treatment/intervention. Add on top of that the mortgage, auto loan(s), personal loans/debt. These are all normal expenses we all have, that will still need to be paid.

Going deeper into it, tragic accidents and emergencies that lead to death are even more costly.
