Late owner, Garnett Carnahan, established Springfield Aluminum Company in 1952. What was founded as an aluminum foundry, quickly seized opportunity in the emerging marine industry that surged across the United States. By the late 70’s, the marine industry was the primary customer base that allowed the former aluminum foundry to evolve into what we know it as today: Springfield Marine Company. With
the help of Co-Owner Caroline Carnahan, Springfield Marine Company expanded to Jiangsu, China in 1990. JiangSu Carnahan's state-of-the-art facility offers nearly 70,000 M2 of in-house product designs and manufacturing, molding, and logistic services.
