Hi, I’m Shawn Osborne, President of Osborne Financial Group Insurance Services, everyone has a story and here’s ours! It all started with a desire I had in 1994, to build an independent agency. After working as a captive agent for many years I was tired of seeing people being treated with disregard when a change in their life happened. I asked myself, am I here to help people with their insurance

needs or just push paper for the company? I felt my loyalty lied with the people that trusted me to insure them first, and the company I represented second. Captive agents work for one company to find people that fit their specific company guidelines and risk tolerance. If the company rates go up or you get cancelled you have to start over finding another agent you can trust. In an independent insurance agency, if the company rates increase or they cancel you, we find you options to preserve the relationship and keep you from starting over. This creates trust over time which leads to our insureds being loyal. The difference between us and other agencies is that we consistently go that extra mile to earn a long-term relationship of trust leading to loyalty. We are proud to say through hard work and dedication a lot of our clients have been with us since we opened in 1994. Over the last 30 years we have built strong relationships with top rated insurance companies. This gives us the insight you don’t have, to search for better coverage at a lower price more efficiently! The 2025 Eagles Lair Open at the Shrine Mosque Auditorium was a great day of wrestling and fellowship! Congratulations to Waynesville Tigers Youth Wrestling Club for earning the first place team trophy! As the host sponsor and tournament director, I would like to personally thank the following for their support and contributions. You are what makes this tournament possible: Max Cornett owner of GPS Realty, Peyton Nevels manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts, Porter Osborne, Mike Estabrook, Brian Peak, Abby Highfill, Jordan Williams, Grady Hicker and Chris Schoen for doing an awesome job of setting up the floor and running the scoring tables. OFG has supported this tournament for many years. The sport of wrestling helps our young people develop the character and skills they will need, on and off the mat, to compete in life. The proceeds of the tournament will go to help many community organizations in the local area, that help to put the tournament on.
