As the sun sets this evening, we’ll be closing in observance of Shabbat.

From Friday evening until Saturday evening, our office will be unavailable as we take time to rest, worship, and spend time with family in accordance with our faith.

I spend a lot of time talking with business owners, and one thing I’ve noticed is that almost nobody thinks the claim is going to happen to them. It’s always, “We’re careful,” or “That would never happen here.”

Then it’s something completely ordinary.

Someone slips on a wet floor.

An employee backs into a customer’s car.

A ladder falls through a window.

Someone clicks the wrong email.

None of those people started their day expecting to deal with thousands, or sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage.

That’s why I made this carousel. Not to scare anyone or sell a policy, but because I genuinely think understanding your risks is just as important as having insurance in the first place.
