This is how we feel about making it through April!

On a personal note: my youngest is finishing her 5th year as an All-Star cheerleader this weekend. And when the season ends tomorrow…it doesn’t stop for her. She’ll be right back in the gym next week- working on new skills, leveling up, and trying out for next season within 2 weeks.

Watching her give everything she has to her sport and her team, inspires me as a business owner to do the same, everyday, as I show up for myself and my clients.

As a business, we have not only survived, but thrived through tax season!! I’m so proud of my team (Amanda Yates Miller) and my clients.

Let’s keep going as we make 2026 our best year yet!

The last 2 weeks have been nothing short of crazy. I want to take a moment to say 💙THANK YOU💙 to my amazing clients. Your patience, care, and understanding has meant more than you know.

I built this business with two deeply important goals in mind. First, to use my gifts & talents to provide financial clarity to businesses and help them grow, succeed, and make a greater impact. Second, to create a life that allows me the flexibility to serve my clients with excellence while always keeping my family as my top priority.

The last couple weeks I’ve been able to do just that!

By the grace of God, my sister is home- healthy and happy - with her sweet family!! What a blessing to be there for you when you needed it. I know you would do the same for me, without a second thought. I love you!!

Thank you again for your patience, encouragement, and continued support. It truly means more than you know. Now, let’s finish Q1 strong and get those taxes filed if you haven’t already! 😜

🎉 Big win this month! Crystal Clear Bookkeeping just completed 117 1099 filings, ahead of the Jan 31st deadline.

Good news for 2026—the IRS has raised the 1099 reporting threshold to $2,000.

That said, requesting a W-9 before paying vendors is always a smart move. A little prep now saves a lot of headaches later!
