Over the past year, there has been an increase of about 2-5% for 2-bedroom apartments in Cambridge. Rent went up due to an increase in demand and a lack of supply. For luxury condos, the increase is up to 10% due to management companies fee.
"K**b and tube" wiring is common in houses built prior to 1920. Houses build later used BX. The main issue with "K**b and tube" wiring is insurance. Some insurance companies will not insure houses with that type of wiring. In the past 2 years, it has been common for insurance companies to charge a premium when insuring for houses with "know and tube" wiring.
