I’m the Commercial Lines Manager at Kovalev Insurance, here since February 2021, and in the insurance world since 2007. What started as a “temporary” job while I was finishing my bachelor’s degree turned into a career I truly love — working at Kovalev has been the best job I’ve ever had. Originally from Kazakhstan, I speak Russian, English, and fluent “cat and dog.” These days I call sunny Florida home, where I split my time between the beach, my giant garden (which acts like my boss), and my unofficial animal sanctuary — two dogs, four cats, and currently five foster kittens. If it has fur and needs love, it will probably end up at my house. I insure people by day, rescue animals by night, and wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’m Debora, part of the Personal Lines team at Kovalev Insurance, where I’ve
been working as a Personal Lines Coordinator for almost a year. What I enjoy
most about my role is being in touch with our clients every day and helping
them with their requests.
Before joining Kovalev, I worked for six years in Life Insurance in Buenos
Aires, Argentina. That experience gave me a solid foundation in the industry,
and today I’m glad to keep growing within Personal Lines.
I’m originally from Argentina, so naturally I’m passionate about football,
barbecues, and long conversations with family and friends—ideally with a
glass of Malbec. I also love languages and culture: in my free time, I teach my
daughter Russian, and I truly believe languages open the door to
understanding and connecting with people.
For me, both in life and in work, it all comes down to protecting what matters
