If I could, I’d probably be drinking this pecan latte from my yacht. 😂☕️

What I CAN do? Pay attention to the market, know the numbers, and help you figure out what makes sense for YOU—whether rates go up, down, sideways, or decide to keep us all guessing.

Because waiting for the “perfect” rate isn’t always the best strategy. Knowing your options is.

And apparently, neither is starting a Tuesday without a pecan latte.

We have officially entered the “-ber” months. 🍂🎃

Kansas, apparently, did not get the memo.

Still hot.
Still humid.
Still somehow capable of turning one afternoon of yardwork into a full-body dirt treatment. 😂

Matt came inside absolutely FILTHY and genuinely did not believe us.

So naturally, Lila did what any loving 17-year-old daughter would do:

requested photographic evidence in a .5. 💀📸

Matt did not understand the assignment.
Lila persisted.
The flash came on.
And the evidence was… overwhelming. 😂

Just another glamorous Friday with your local mortgage guy.

He may look slightly more presentable when helping you finance a house. Usually. 🏡😂

We’ve been dealing with some pretty serious matters around here.

Mainly Sam conducting a full investigation into whether any grilled chicken may have been left behind. 🕵️‍♂️🐾

What you don’t see: the 100+ lb Great Pyrenees who had already completely wedged himself UNDER the Blackstone to lick the drippings. 😂

No mortgage advice today.
No rate update.
Just Sam reminding everyone to leave no opportunity on the table.

Turns out when the phone stops ringing, you can hear all kinds of things. 😂

Like actual water. Birds. Your own thoughts.

Mortgage life moves fast, and I wouldn’t have it any other way—but every once in a while, it’s pretty great to trade rate sheets, emails and phone calls for a view like this.

Then we come home, recharge the phone, and get right back to helping people figure out the mortgage side of their next move.

Feel Good Friday ☀️

Turns out, “home” really does travel with you. 🤍

As we soak up these last few days of summer, I’m feeling pretty grateful for the trips, the memories, the time together—and especially these three.

Summer always goes way too fast, but we made some good memories along the way.

Here’s to one last summer weekend before school schedules and real life kick back in!
