The democrats are pushing to make Washington District of Columbia the 51st State without realizing that the reason they were never made a state was because the constituency would have been representing their home states. With very few residents claiming the District of Columbia as their home state. Thes residents DID have the ability to vote on National questions and DO have the ability to vote on those issues.

Garris Elkins, one thing about being able to see you on F/B is being able to comment on the relationship we had when you were in Newport. While I may not have "enjoyed" Johston, it HAD to be much better than French Frigate Shoals! I learned to SCUBA dive and to have two weeks leave at Christmas because of the Air Force!

I just had an interesting visit from a gentleman. When I got to the point that I was having difficulty making the monthly payments for the rental storage I moved it all down to my office hoping to have it all sold by now. He gave me thirty dollars for several if the smaller items and expressed a strong interest in my radial arm saw, lathe and router table and several of the other "shop" items. It looks like I'll be getting a lot of it sold!
