Depending on whether you’re purchasing a primary, secondary, or investment home, you may qualify for different loan programs, which have different minimum down payments, interest rates, and terms.

🏡 Primary home: where you live the majority of the year.

​🏡 Second home: usually a vacation home where you live for part of the year and do not have a rental agreement.

🏡 Investment home: you rent it out full-time or plan to flip.

Keep in mind, this alone doesn’t classify each, but it’s an easy place to start.
